What a joy! So colourful with the acers, hydrangeas, mahonia and fuchsias still giving there all! The winding bare tree ( 3 down on the left ) is stunning too! I would love one of those and the snake bark thingy on the right, not sure what either of them are?

I so love these monthly updates on your garden, especially now that we're traveling and I'm seeing such "foreign" plants. Our climate is so similar to yours that it's like seeing a bit of home while we're rummaging around through the cacti. :P Beautiful ... and thank you!

I had no idea you had Japanese trees in the garden. They are quite lovely. And white lions are very rare. Found in the wild only in South Africa, they are considered divine by the local people. So white is good.

I so look forward to each posting of "the Monthly Garden". Each year I am stunned at the beauty and color in your garden in November .. and through the winter. Our garden is mostly shades of browns and touches of green, gray, and black. And lots of white, but it's melting, and is mostly gone now.
