The image is based on a family fable - one of those family history stories you find hard to believe.

Looks very familiar. My father used to take my sister and I out to the local hillsides every year to pick out the perfect cedar tree for the house. One year when I was about 6 or 7, we found what we thought was right but he wanted to look a little more so he told Ann to mark that tree so we could find it again. After a few more minutes of looking, he decided the first one was THE ONE. When he asked were it was, Ann looked around and couldn't find it. "How did you mark it?" my father asked. "I put a rock under it." The whole hillside was covered with cedar trees with rocks under them. I think we may have found it again but Ann was never asked to do the marking again. This is a fabulous reminder of that day!
