My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A lovely shot. Glad you enjoyed your afternoon. Would you believe I can't even remember the name of the movie we saw...but I enjoyed the company and the Chinese food we brought home afterward:)

Flamingos of another color. I wonder if they're cognizant of their lovely surroundings. And those rocks are right up my alley.

Well, whatever the case, they are quite lovely, and this is a cool capture of them, Tara! And here, I was gonna break out my Extended version of Lord of The Rings and treat you to all 9 hours of it..... LOL! Oh, well.. I guess I'll just grill some salmon instead. :-D

I rarely go to any movies now. I agree, its enjoyable shooting photos. Aloha

It is a most beautiful photo, although I see scratchy palm leaves in there! I don't do cinema either, far too loud for a start, and I don't like being shut in the dark with a load of badly behaved strangers any more.

Well, they look like birds and it looks like paradise with all those colorful rocks and lovely plants. since we can make our own reality I am going with the paradise theme here. Thanks for sharing your vision :)

A really lovely picture Tara.
whaleman
Well, that is likely the closest to paradise those two birds are going to experience! Very nice shot!

A splendid capture of this very interesting scene....

What a lovely capture! I have one of those crane statues in my back yard, the looking-up one; but there's nothing remotely paradisical out there right now, it's freezing and brownish.

LOL @ honey. I have seen that one too in her shots she has shared :) Great stuff going on here sweetie. Like the details all over the place, and textures and colours...All are great my dear.

... just add some water ;P imagine the colour of the pebbles in water, even better ... but speaking of movies, I just 'lurv' them - of course best in the privacy of my own home ;)) and I can fall asleep during them, if it is not a good one - LOL BB PS - I enjoyed your travelog, thanks Tara !

You are right, dear friend, sure you had a much nicer time by being in such a paradise. The photo is fantastic with all the colors and the greenery, and of course with a flamingo Adam, and a flaminga Eve. The snake must be hidden under those beautiful stones, and the apple......already eaten, I guess.

Beautifully composed image & the colors on that rock are fantastic. But, being a big time film fan myself, I still don't understand your indifference (or maybe even antipathy?) to movies...
