Description

I checked the school closures list and saw that Camas and Washougal schools were still open so I got dressed and got on my bike to go to work. thankfully I had just put new tires on my bike. I took my usual route and came up to the bridge. I stopped and took this photo at this time the Temperature was still a mere 21F Yes! I do know how to ride in the snow and ice. I'm very careful but I still have fun.

Riding your bike to work in all kinds of weather gets you some of the best, most beautiful, and most unique shots! Love this one! It has an almost eerie quality!

Cool shot, Mike. Not sure if it's frozen rain that falls, or if it's snow. But it looks great on the camera lens.

Great capture Mike. My riding in ice and snow days are over - age and no opportunity. Yesterday 82 F (a record for Phoenix in December) and today 77F. I will get cooler in the near future, but no snow or ice are in the forecast!

This is such a cool shot! I love the way the bridge disappears in the darkness and the snowflakes get smaller and smaller. San Antonio is promoting bicycling with rental bikes at key locations in the city. I've considered testing whether it's true that you never forget how to ride a bike. I might end up renting one and returning it to the same stand two minutes later with the knowledge that, oops, yes you can forget.
