Bad news... the new card died... probably after rendering a huge scene. So back to the GTX570 for a while until it is replaced. Not impressed at all!!

Such a sweet, wistful image! I think I would have rendered a volcano if my BRAND NEW card had fallen down like that! Drawn in MS paint and rendered as flat planes with an alpha mask, to accomodate the old card.
