"Snow Storm Tree Lighting" *I am remembering out of all the bad memories a good one comes to mind. As a senior in high school one Christmas, I was actually looking forward to my Christmas vacation from school and being out for the winter holidays. Two whole weeks off from going to that place! I would then be spending all kinds of time with my friends and even a girlfriend who I was so in love with. I wanted each and every Christmas vacation to never end after this one...but they did. This was one great Christmas vacation that really stood out in my memory. It was the year 1981 when all of my friends and their girlfriends and my girlfriend and I spent four days at a mountain resort for a great time away from it all. We all got permission from our parents and then we took off following each other in our cars all the way to our grand destination at Mammoth Mountain. That week was one of the greatest memories I think myself, my girlfriend and all of my friends will never forget. The endless amount of skiing on those beautiful mountains, and those winter snow storms that made us make our fireplace roar with heated warmth and getting close to the girl I was with! Ah those young days when all we could think of was partying and getting laid! I'm sure you have some memory of something like it or close to this. It's a good thing to think about those memories sometimes because from those memories, lives the way we love today, even though the stamina and testosterone level have dropped alot...lol But it's times such as these and the way we lived our lives in our youth is what a big part of who we became as adults and accomplished people, that living for those moments and into the future we wandered from there and into tomorrow makes an everlasting memory in our hearts and minds that will be with us forever.
