Description
There are so many little moments at the Hollow, what luck I had my camera handy to catch this one! Mr. Wolf just waking from a nap, Mrs. Squirrel just happened to be there and was telling Mr. Wolf he should brush his teeth .. morning breath you know, yuk. Wee Little Mousey thinking it's not a good idea to tell Mr. Wolf he's got bad breath! Wee Little Mousey is getting ready to scram!
Not to worry, Mr. Wolf just shrugged it all off, Mrs. Squirrel lived to see many many more days, and Wee Little Mousey was gone before Mr. Wolf finished yawning.

Very cute scene and story! I don't know if it qualifies as nasty, but right now at 2 minutes to 9pm it is just a balmy 17F with clear skies and a crescent moon (waxing)

Funny it reminded me of the little birds that clean the teeth of alligators while they bask in the sun. I'm glad nothing predatory or evil ever happens at the hollow....it lifts my heart to know there's somewhere so benign in the world.

I wish the Hollow was the Paradise it is in my mind, sadly, in real life bad things do happen. Too many times we find dear, shot by hunters both in and out of season and left to die. There is always predation in the real world, the strong almost always win ... sigh. But there is the Magical Three Dog Hollow, and there, evil is kept at Bay by the elves and fairies .. and the angels.

How fun. Beautifully done. Your hollow is such a special, magical place. Anyway, has been as cold as -65F here with quite a bit of snow the past few days.. has warmed up a lot today though and is about 0F now.
