Description
Rose 'Claire Austin', in bloom at present in my garden.
It is strong and healthy, and I planted it this last year as a climber on an arch.
They have a strong myrrh fragrance, described as having dashes of meadowsweet, vanilla and heliotrope, although at present I don't detect these!

Simply gorgeous. I never try to figure out what else a rose smells like besides a rose, but I understand there are those who can't leave well enough alone. This one smells perfect. :)

both shots are gorgeous! the closer one is just as charming as the one revealing more of the rose plant. Our roses are all in for the deep sleep of winter. We're past the first deep freeze, ground is freezing, and we're done with all but the evergreens and the weeds which seem to stay green no matter what.

A fine capture, love the water droplets, really adds to this shot. So many roses these days have no fragrance.. most tend to be those hybrids.
