The head and hat were modeled in a very early version of Rhino3D/Rhinoceros. The body and wings were modeled in SoftFX, which best I can tell is no more. When I started doing bigger more complicated things, (before the Big Hard Drive Crash/Nervous Breakdown) I learned to keep notes sort of like bread crumbs. The birds might as well have eaten these. I have a friend who models weapons and such much like myself (only he's better) only he's using a current version of Rhinoceros. Rhino is a top of the line NURBS modeling platform/software that unfortunately generates a zillion polys when anything is exported from it.
