This is awesome artwork!!! I hope you don't change anything about it.....it's fine the way it is!! The character makes me think of Sharon Stone....in the movie..."The quick and the dead". Great job my friend!!

My first impression of this silhouette was fantastic...another superb piece. However, I do understand an artist's need for critique, especially when the artist himself is not satisfied with the piece so I gave it a closer inspection. Also upon reading the other comments my attention was indeed drawn to the hair hanging down by her chest. I realized that on the right side it shows a good sized- tendril of hair hanging down, but up by her head all the hair appears to be blowing off to the left. So what doesn't quite ring true is that there would be a flow of some hair over her shoulder to the front of her in order to create the realistic effect of the tendril escaping to the right of her chest. But, that is truly a minor detail that is not a glaring defect, in fact something only noticeable upon close inspection...and even then a matter of individual interpretation. What I do really love about this is, as others have mentioned , your ingenious use of the white outlining to retain the silhouette. The curves of the woman with the sharper angles of the background landscape really give this a lot of eye-catching appeal. In spite of my minor critique I would be proud to hang this on my wall as is. I really do love your works. You have an amazing talent.

Les rascals n'ont qu'à bien se tenir. Peut-être les montagnes en "outline", mais l'image est très bien comme elle est.

Oui ou dans un ton different ... Plus clair ou plus foncé... Bon je la referais plus tard car j'ai pris note de toute les remarques qui en dehors d'un point de detail sur la veste mettent en evidence le manque de profondeur se l'image... Je progresse... je progresse Merci a vous tous !!!

Neat composition of this gunslinger, you said "These are the thongs of his jacket" but to me the body shape and pose suggest a woman, yes...no ? The only improvement I would make is to change the Mesa's and background to a lighter blue or several lighter shades of blue, to help with the depth, as it is, it all looks quite flat, just a suggestion and still well done. ~Cheers~

Yes. In retrospect, the dark masses unbalancing the image. Oui. En y réfléchissant, les masses sombres, en bas, déséquilibrent l'image.

This is amazing! As always, I love your use of line! One possibility for changing it would be to cut off the bottom of the rock formations, leaving the space between them & the foreground white. This might add to the filling of depth.

I wouldn't change a thing Yves - a fantastic silhouette my friend. It looks like you used Monument Valley, Utah, US as your background. Many US western movies were made there. Je ne changerais pas une chose Yves - une silhouette fantastique mon ami. On dirait que vous avez utilisé Monument Valley, Utah, États-Unis comme arrière-plan. De nombreux films occidentaux américains y ont été faites.

I really like it just as it is, Yves. Maybe a little darker blue, and possibly a touch of warm graduated color in the sky. Not enough to distract from the main subject, but just enough to add a bit of contrast to the blue. Love your explorations, my friend - keep them coming! :-D

Et oui, le fond prend trop d'importance dans le dessin! Arff, the background takes too much importance in the drawing!
