What a special day...
the 11th day of the 12th month of the 13th year...
A great day it was to watch The Hobbit - Desolation of Smaug.
Forget all the critique ... good and bad on Rottentomatos
I saw them all, and to my great surprise all those who wrote about the movie in the last few days did not see what is to see in it. It is not the Dragon that steals the show at the end
Nor is the end of the movie a nasty clifhanger.
The movie is briljant.. It is full of hints towards the future (Lord of Rings) and the build up towards it is fantastic, making it clear it is not just There and Back again that lies ahead of us, but much more.
The story is not 2x 3 movies.. it is 1x 6 and that is a sheer pleasure !
After I saw the Movie, I saw the fantastic sunlight of today. The second winter of the year has arrived.. and it has it's beauty

Another cool shot.. great to see.... yeah forget the critics.. a totally excellent set of movies!.. but then I am a LOTR fan anyway, and PJ can do no wrong with this set of movies!
