Description

We found 2 photos of this loco in BW. We have tried to reconstruct it as close as we can to the photo, the photo had no engine model number attached to it. We did enlarge the two tanks at the rear of the fuel tank and raise then to the center of the fuel tank. We took the raised remote connects and changed them to deck remotes the hitches were missing and it had some god awful trucks we couldn't duplicate. So it has a new front and back plate which were missing and two enlarged tanks now. Give me a guess, I think it's some kind of Alco, Baldwin, or very old GE but I really have no idea. Your guess will be appreciated very much. PS - we have been offline about a week the ice storm took our internet out and repair crews didn't have it on a very high priority. I guess electricity was more important, I wonder why?

Don't forget to mention that it was sitting in an abandoned dirt freight yard somewhere in Indiana. We know it's not any GE U-20 thru 33 series, I've checked all the pictures I can.

Looks like a 6 or 10000 hp unit to me, bigger than any road units I've seen or worked with, sorry can't help here, but I love the render you did Mike, great work of art. Stan
