Description

I have been working to improve the look of eyes and skin using some tips from the classic book Digital Lighting and Rendering by Jeremy Birn, just released in its third edition. This includes subtle enhancements to SSS on the skin and the way light catches the iris. I hope you like the results. Thanks for looking. Phil

Fantastic shading work! Beautiful and mesmerizing eyes. Maybe you can share some tips and tricks about it in the Forums? I think it would be very useful to the whole community. I also wonder how render-time expensive these shaders are. But whatever is the technical magic behind it, the result is amazing!
