For all your views and comments on my last one - Thankyou.
Like everyone else, I harbour tales about my travels through life - some good, some sad, some bad, and sometimes had narrow escapes from the dodgy and downright scary.. Growing up in the forties (despite WWII) and fifties I had a freedom that is sadly denied to many children today and in my travelling time all was golden, and mostly it still is, and I am lucky. I wish I could pass it on.

Love the illustrated look of this Jen, super job. Indeed, to those of us old enough those were the days, it seemed a different world then...guess it was really. It's been a long winding road but I wouldn't trade any of it for anything, the Grateful Dead said it best... "What a long, strange trip it's been," Peace

What a unique and beautiful mystical image!! It makes me think of clouds, and the big cloud at the very top...is "huffing" and "puffing" and gonna "blow your house in"!! "lol"!! Very cool image Jenny!!

beautiful and exceptional. your words reminded me of how much freedom I had growing up in the forties. I lived in a good sized town of 16000 and from the age of 4 I was able to go downtown by myself as long as I knew to wait for the red and yellow to cross the street. All the streets had sidewalks on both sides. At five we all walked to school by ourselves. When I was old enough for a car and buying gas the gallons went up way, way faster than the dollars. We would chip in to get enough change to buy a dollars worth of gas. Oh, the good old days.
