Description
Work progresses after a break on my Repulse. There are many small details to do and to add. The portholes are last work when all other details are fitted to the model. The model is made with Rhino3D an so it is a Nurbs Model. The density of the meshes will be decided later, when the model is finished. This is a quick and dirty mesh export with default values to render the pictures.
I fear the model becomes too complex and so too expensive to be sold on Renderosity... Well, we will see...

This is some Serious Piece of Naval modelling, superb, even at this stage of development. Well Done!

Sweet job so far! Meshing is always problematic in Rhino. I like to use the advanced meshing options and have a tutorial on it here. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2663658 Don't forget that you do not have to mesh out the whole model at one setting. You can use various settings depending on the level of detail you need for the various parts.

Thank you Dan. This is the way I do it. First I split all the parts for UV-mapping and then I mesh and export it and then in Cenma I make the UV-mapping and fit all parts together. ;-)
