The Doctor is shown standing beside Auguste Piccard who was the inspiration for Professor Calculus (Professeur Tournesol) in the Titin books. He also inspired Gene Rodenberry to call his Captain Jean-Luc Piccard. (NB: in French, the final 'd' is mute). Obviously this picture was not made in photoshop but is the result of a trans dimensional/universe wormhole or somesuch.
