Description

When viewing this image before resizing I decided on this photo because I could see a perfect reflection not only of my house and back deck but of me taking the shot! No cropping at all on this.

Never seen this kind of woodpecker before. Great shot of it & the wood & the reflections provide nice additional visual interest & appeal...

Thank you so much! The Hairy Woodpecker is almost identical to the Downy Woodpecker except it is larger, has a longer and thicker beak as well as that black marking coming down its shoulder. The males of both have a red mark on the back of their head as well.
