Description

Photo taken from the top of a parking garage. The gull was on a light fixture and screeching for something to eat. Life seems to be settling down for us and I have been catching up with my commenting. Thank you for giving me the time to catch up! This photo will zoom. What a great character shot of this gull. I also love the POV and how he fits into the background with his legs replacing the palm tree trunks, It is as if he he truly owns the city and if you can't see that he will tell you himself.

A standard 55mm - I was finishing my sandwich before getting into my car - he was calling friends and s/he wasn't about to leave as long as there was a chance of getting the leftover bread.

What an excellent focus, Dana! They do like to shriek for food; I have one that's decided to join my breakfast crow feeding at work, and he's noisier than the whole bunch altogether.
