This render is well-done, but seems to carry a troubling if not depressing message. The pavement has no ground beneath it. The sun is setting (as the title suggests). The figure is a skeleton, and its only possession, a balloon, is just a thin membrane filled with gas.
The image therefore seems to me to express the forlorn feelings of a soul that seeks vainly for something lasting, something of substance, to hold on to, to find fulfilment in. Is this truly the human condition?... :(
