Description

As promised last time I will keep you posted of my art as I paint. At the moment my art is at a new gallery that just opened Monday. Some of my work for the 2013 showing, I am sharing with all and a little about each piece. Top left: "Flowers are a perfect replica of human life" . . . . planting . . . growth . . . . bloom . . . . withering (palette knife oil painting) Bottom left: This rustic old car has many stories of it's travels and ended up on a dump overlooking the lovely view. He did his part and now he rests. (acrylic painting) Top right: Living in South Africa, it's part of our history. We are a rainbow nation with many tribes, languages and religions. We must stand together to make our land better. (acrylic painting) Bottom right: Ancient Egyptians regarded the pomegranate as a symbol of prosperity and ambition and was also known as the "fruit of the dead," in the Ancient Greek mythology.
