Description

I was rather surprised recently when this rather scrawny rose twig in my front garden suddenly produced a flower. We were eleven days into December after all. Anyway, it looked lovely for a couple of days but, after a night of strong wind and rain, it was totally gone. Sad. Well captured. That's one of the major attractions of photography for me - being able to preserve fleeting moments that would otherwise be lost. Especially for people like me who have memory issues...
