One of the toughest things I've had to deal with in creating images in Daz/Poser has been giving the appearance of motion in a still image. It's not like a comic book page where you can simply put in a few speed lines and voila! So I started working on a methodology to create a way do display motion. I did not use PWGhost or anything like that for this effect. I went completely guerrilla on this one and what I did was create two scenes --one with just the figure, it's clothing and lights and the second scene with everything there. You do the end pose of the figure in that scene. Then you go back to the identical scene with just the lights and figure and do or or two poses that lead up to the final pose. You take the lights with the figure so that everything is the same when you render it --you don't really have to worry about all the shadows unless you want to, but the lighting of the figure should be as close to the end image as possible so that when you merge them together, they match up. Anyway, this was the result. I took a little inspiration from Bruce Lee and the Chinese Connection and this was the result. There were two images that were merged in paint.net with a little bit of work with the eraser and the transparency slider. I'm going to try it again now that I have Photoshop, but it's pretty encouraging.
