Description

I did this Victrola for a wedding invitation a while back. I finally rendered it to basically show it realistically and rather old/weathered. It is pretty accurate to what the real one would look like. I have seen several of these and have played 78 rpm records on them. They have surprisingly good sound quality. They must have seemed magical back in the day when they were introduced. Live performances right in your own living room. I have a record of Enrico Caruso singing "Santa Lucia" that is one of my prized possessions. It's fidelity is remarkable on these old Victrola record players. :) Modeled in Rhino and rendered with AIR. A few touches here and there as aftereffects, but mostly just what was rendered.
