Description
In which The Cult of Skaro, reincarnate in bodies snatched from innocent denizens of planet Necros, have stolen something that had been hidden. Something terrible, with the power to devour whole galaxies.
How can any conscience appeal to monsters without conscience?
Now time itself is off course, events that should have happened have not, and an aged Doctor, stuck incarnate in what should have been a long past form, and his remaining companions, sick and enraged with grief for loved ones lost, must succeed, where they have already failed.
Rendered in Firefly, Poser Pro 2014. Little bit of blur on the Z-Depth to postwork. IDL-only render using ambient light sources (envsphere, with panorama rendered in Vue) and inverse linear point lights.

checking on epifani - again - now it's on sale... and i see THIS! awesomely chaotic, dreadfully horrible, omg is this really gonna happen? ;) genial mix of epifani & the robots, they match so well! poses are great too. and the details, like the skulls, the chess set... not even mentioning the lighting! this is the stuff posters are made from. only i wouldn't want this on my wall - i couldn't sleep any more, it's too realistic XD

lol! guess what - i didn't know what daleks were, nor the cult, anything at all. just thought hey cool robots. nope, never watched dr who, just barely heard of it and the tardis somehow (well, i actually saw 1 episode halfway from the middle months ago, not knowing what it was, thinking "oh a weird supernatural typically british serial", now i found it was 'god complex'. no daleks in it ~). finally i can appreciate the pic for its meaning too, and got a bit smarter on top while wikigoogling the whole stuff XD.
