I can't imagine anything I'd enjoy less than a dinner party at that table! Too many people, too close together, too much everything. Wow. A terrific shot! You've conveyed how it must feel. Nicely done!

Well, Napoleon III of course was far less famous than the Napoleon we all have known about (Napoleon I, or Napoleon Bonaparte), and we can see this to be true as Napoleon Bonaparte would have had candles in the holders!

Wow...I cannot imagine sitting at a table with that many people! My dining room is MUCH smaller, but I'm glad. I prefer more intimate dinners with friends than just looking at them down the length of a huge table!! nice shot!
