When I first opened this, I thought you did a tribute to Shahna (Angelique Pettyjohn), who was in the Star Trek episode The Gamesters of Triskelion. Excellent work with this beautiful lady
dreaming_banshee

** "Low quality????!!!" ** Falls out of chair Oh, my, Lil' Sis..... If this is low quality, I'm dying to see what 'high quality' looks like.... It's almost as if you could reach out and touch her skin, and feel the warmth of her face (before she knocks my head off...) This is magnificent work, Sis, but that's no surprise. Your work is one of a kind, and is always a treat! Another home run! And that hair...... I don't know how Jo does it....

excellent, beautiful portrait

Her assertiveness and self confidence is portrayed so well in her stance and facial expressions, you constantly 'wow' me with your portraits, Jenny, you're definitely the Queen of them in my book. The textures here knock one for a loop, they really jump out at you, Seems like I remember a simarlar hair (Khione?) that I've got hanging out in my runtime, but it's from a few years ago and nowhere near as detailed as this one. I sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas and to all those you hold dear, Jenny. I'm sorry I've been so absent of late andI thank you dearly for your prayers and wishes, I can't express the good they bring to me and I thank you,,, Don

This is another fabulous portrait to go along with all the other fantastic portraits in your gallery Li'l Sis, love it, I have to agree with the comments above on this and that hair looks fantastic on her.. Have a super Christmas..

Very cool. I do not think that quality is as noticeable on the net.

I really like the extreme realism of this character. I especially like her textures, her hands look a bit worn and dry, very much like someone living on the land. Is this from the characters skin texture or from lighting or both. I would like to know how you did this as I would like to achieve this look on my warrior girls too. How you brought out the details in that outfit is incredible too. So well done, like a National Geographic image.

There is a certain austerity, even asperity in this noble-woman's demeanour. And that wouldn't be a cane she's resting her hands on, either. The hair - appropriately - lacks shine: which give a gritty, realistic edge to the setting. We're out in the wild, it tells me. Survival for the fittest, of which she figures prominently. Strong work, Jenny.
