HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mies!
I wish for you a pain free year, my friend.
This is the light above my bed, a lampshade made of paper mache and pressed flowers and insects.
I bought it many moons ago at a craft show where I had a stand. I think the artist was called Kate Etherington.
I searched for her on line, but no luck. Not surprising as we were both young mums then, and anything could have happened by now.

OMGosh! Really? This really and truly is a lamp shade? It is totally and completely awesome and I wonder how that Kate lady made it? Oh I am so blown away by this and want one of my own! It is simply wonderful!!
