Description
In recent years 'fruitcake' has been the subject of many degrading jokes and seems to be headed for extinction. Therefore I baked this cake, ate a big slice (yum!), placed the remainder on this base and covered it with a glass dome hermetically sealed to the base. My recipe is enclosed in the base. Centuries in the future someone may discover this and give a much deserved new birth to a delicious treat!
