Description

I originally did this to see if I could emulate comic style artwork using images I had created in Bryce with filters added for that outlined in black look that some people prefer over pure CGI imagery. With this one it seemed to work. As with some of the stuff I upload it was meant for one purpose, and now exists as a piece of art in its own right. Thanks for looking, and a Very Merry Christmas to all my chums on Renderosity. Hopefully I will be a wee bit more productive in 2014! lol Oh and everything you see was built by me, but the Daleks were converted to Poser models by my good mate BillyHome.

Android65Mar is correct. It was 50 years ago, Saturday, December 21, 1963 then the BBC aired "The Dead Planet", the first episode of the serial that would forever cement Doctor Who's fame. Of course, audiences saw nothing more than a plunger arm from the POV of its owner in the closing seconds of the episode. The Daleks would be be revealed in all their unnerving glory until the following Saturday, the 28th. But the mysterious "thing" that made Barbara scream had the kids abuzz with curiosity for the intervening days. Sincerely, Bill

I've so missed your work in the time I've been "away" love the strong, almost lurid colors and the POV, feels like something that would be a cover from a pulp novel or magazine.
