Description
The Cosmonaut Alexei Leonov is a fictional Soviet spaceship in the novel 2010:Odyssey Two, and its film adaptation 2010. It was named after Soviet Air Force General Alexey Leonov, the first man to walk in space. The model of the Leonov for the film was designed by Syd Mead.
The Space Station V is a fictional space station seen in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. By the time of events depicted in 2010, the second wheel is complete. Operational, it is a large, international, rotating wheel space station used as a transfer point from Low Earth orbit to the moon and other planets.

This is fantastic - an excellent representation of the vehicles from both movies - brilliant! Sad we've not yet used our technology and knowledge to reach this point in our evolution - as 2013 winds down, we're well behind Clarke's vision. Sadly, it seems our energies are spent on warfare and greed. It's still a thrill for me to stand in my yard and watch our present space station pass overhead in the night sky.

I like this design, it's got all of the good aspects of the design esthetic of the Babylon 5 series, and stays true to the 2001/2010 story as well. Great job!
