Description


Forde Abbey is actually in Dorset but the nearest town is Chard where I live. Behind the abbey lies the river Axe which forms the county boundary so the hills behind are in Somerset whilst all the foreground is in Dorset. A most impressing landscape, and Ford Abbey, Jeff. What a large place. I love the architecture, and the background is beautiful too, with the hills. A pity that car is standing before the building, but the color fits well, so, who cares. ;-)
