Tis the season to be jolly..FAHLAHLAHaa..Ahem..:) Like many capitals around the world, central London is no exception to letting everyone know that Christmas is here and is getting everyone into the festive spirit. Here are a small selection of shots taken, and in typical UK fashion - no snow (yet!), but plenty of rain (made for nice reflections off the ground though!). Left to Right: Momouth Street - Christmas Lights. Leicester Square - Yep, it's currently a fairground. Piccadilly Circus - Statue of Eros has been turned into a massive snowglobe. Covent Garden - This reindeer has become a staple visual here. Covent Garden - Pano of Central Piazza. During the day the area in-front of the piazza is usually filled with street entertainers. Trafalgar Square - Since 1947, each year a Christmas tree has been donated by the city of Oslo to the people of Britain, as a token of gratitude for supporting Norway during WWII. Christmas carol groups are also seen here during the evening troughout the festive period. Oxford Street - Christmas Lights. Carnaby Street - Theme is 'The Year of the Robin'.
