Description

It's that time of year when other folks' funerals can interfere with my efforts to delay my own. This one last year was rather posh, with a cortege of stretched Rolls-Royce limousines. I got to wear my spectacular going-to-funerals hat which I bought in a charity shop for £3.50. This lovely gentleman was kind enough to let me take his pic, and I still got to the pool afterwards in time to do my half mile! See the original coloured one which is now on Flickr Here and the hat Here

His face reminds me of someone famous that I cannot place at the moment. Tizzy strikes again for a decent portrait.

Great captures, I love the portraits of people you do, the spontaneous nature of a good many of them represents the quality they hold, there is no falseness or posed tailor shop dummy issue's. And this one of the refined gent is great too either colour or B&W. Nice hat by the way.

A super portrait Andrea and I would love to have a head of hair like that. I think I have said before that an anagram of 'funeral' is 'real fun'.

He has such a nice face. I'm sure that fabulous hat went a long way toward him saying "yes" to the portrait! :)

Nonpareil clarity, contrast and general lighting effects in this stunning portrait. Have you thought of taking photos of the funerals that you attend, stretched limos and all?

A member of Parliament? Or perhaps a university professor. A very distinguished image. And that hat is fabulous.

I do like this pleasant smile and the color version. I agree with Ronnie, he does look like an actor!

he has a wonderful head of hair! he has wonderful eyes, and a delightfully smile. He does have a familiar looking face, Mike might have hit it on the head, a version of Jay Leno? But no, it's someone else. Not sure which I like better, the color or the b&w version.
