Description
Gwyneth Palthrow always has this "lost" look in her eyes, especially in this picture. I based it on a photo of hers (of course). This is the real damsel in distress look (with an upcoming apocalypse).
I used mostly a HB pencil and a B4 for the darker tones. Again I pencilled it on special thick paper (180 grams). I have come to the conclusion that this thicker paper makes every drawing a bit pointilistic due to the nature of the paper, meaning that if you hold it approximately 1 meter (3 ft) from yourself it looks even better because everything blends into one another.

Just checked out all of your work. Very, very impressive. It might just be the scanning, but seems to be lacking depth/darkness in some places. Seems maybe a few darker spots here or there would bring the work out more. But then again, may be just the scan:) Don't take it the wrong way, notice I gave you an excellent:)

Nothing to add, this time I even love the bluerred tones your scan gives to this image.. it enforces more and more the poetry of her subtle and melancholically proud look. Amazing work.

Do you draw this free hand or kinda copy it...? I'm just wondering. I'm not artist. I wish I could at least draw a little bit...lol. My best art is stick figures. :o)
