My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Delightfully Beautiful,

When I was a boy, my grandfather would put the coffee on to peculate. He would then carefully make a try with my grandmothers various diabetic medication, and take the coffee in and wake her up. I'm sure that was a daily act of kindness. Of course what I remember is always waking to the smell of coffee. And yes, coffee became an important part of my life. I have tried so many types. There were other parts of the morning routine; the sound of his little radio in the bathroom playing the country station and him running out to the phone to call in his answer to the daily trivia question. And of course the aqua velva scent permeating the house after he was done getting ready for work.... I'm sure I started this paragraph with a point that I no longer remember what it was...

Very interesting subject and response. Sometimes those RAoK aren't really needed after all as you so nicely pointed out

What a wonderful and warmly humorous example of the human condition. Made me think of times I've been stuck. "Would you like some of my grandmother's famous casserole?" So you take some "to be polite". And then you take a bite and find it is horrible. So what do you do with a mouth full of swill?

so wonderful and merry Christmas

You describe so elegantly the sheer horribleness of the situation. What was she thinking? I had to suffer a 'festive' swim yesterday, Christmas music in the pool. Not possessing earplugs I did the whole half mile back crawl with my ears underwater. I may give today a miss...back to silence on the 27th.

Thank you for sharing these lovely tidbits. I especially like the one about the morning coffee. :)

I enjoyed this... every morning I get up to make coffee for Chrissy and I.... :-)

Wonderful writing Tara. God bless.

I always make the morning drink, and as for the Christmas songs, they bore me rigid, so samey and cheesy. Much prefer Deep purple, Yes, or a bit JT :) with the occasional Rush and others.

Hah. Interesting look at two sides of perceived kindness. One who knows and understands and the other who thinks they understand and want everyone to know how kind they are.

Well said.

I had a little giggle here. I can accept the first, as I do most mornings hear a little puzzle in the kitchen and when I am ready to have breakfast, my bun is toasted and the water hot for my tea and that is HIGHLY appreciated. Hubby was there :) But I doubt I could be happy in the second part. Well, I would have accepted ONE Christmas song, as it could have been worse, as RodS also wrote, such as heavy rock or Hiphop :)
