Excellent! Since I've been playing around with Frax Pro (an iPad app), I have a new appreciation of the Mandelbrot,

Cool... Wouldn't mind having a play with it myself.. but no credit cards, no bank account etc... Still... plenty of apps to be going on with though.... =) Quadrium would be cool on IPad... Problem is the Developer just plain quit on it! I'd love to be able to do more with mandies etc but he said he'd have to re-write the whole program with double integer to be able to do any kind of deep zooming etc... Iterations in the Mandelbrot formula on Q are practically a joke... Plain stopped supporting the app even from what I have heard from other users... Real Shame as it is a really cool app even if complicated as hell...

Hi Garth... Not sure if you're familiar with Quadrium on Mac... This is largely achieved through bailout (in this case I think I used either Triangular or Diamond) and the Gradient option.... likely to be ArcTan or Abs Log... bout as simple a fractal as they come and Deep Zoom is absolutely not on with this app sadly but nevertheless you can get some pretty tasty results if you persevere with it... Not the easiest fractal app to use by any means but I'd probably put it on a par with or close second to UF as my favourite fractal app. Would love to have had a play with your baby... Thing is I was never really in a position to buy it even when I did have a bank account and credit card... Did a few XD pieces in UF using Dave Makin's adaptations... too much hard work though,,, I'll bet it's much more intuitive in XD itself... Love some of the renders you've posted here and there that I have spotted in my travels,,,, Used to follow Juliette here too,,,, as well as one or two others,,, Worked Magic with XD! Perhaps I never bought it back then either as it was Windows Only,,,, not sure... Have managed to port a lot of my Win Apps to Mac though using WIneskin!
