Description

Still playing with concepts. MantiZ MKII, still a work in progress, have the chainsaw mouth parts to install, wings, and higher detailed body, etc. As always thought i would show the progress as i add and take away from the model. Made entirely in Bryce 4 by myself using a lot of boleans and primitives. Couple of lens flares added using Universe. Thank you for looking, and i will have to get time to catch up on the galleries. As usual I love it. I do have a but (he says sheepishly). I'd like to see the claws split into a double or triple to add a little more weight and boldness to the end of the legs. I know it's a bit more work but with the mantis already front heavy with that head, which I truly love, and it's forelegs, the back legs kind of wither. Hey, have a safe and happy new year.

I'm always stunned and amazed by your creations. I think a big part of that isn't just the incredible levels of detail you put into these Zects, but also how beautiful they are. This looks as like a piece of jewelry as much as it also looks like a machine. I'm in awe!
