Description


As you may have noticed, it doesn't have a lid! I accidentally broke it while sneaking some cookies when I was about 6 years old - - - - - over 78 years ago! Somehow I sense that whenever Grandma looked at it she would fondly recall how she alleviated my sobbing sorrow as she treated it all as a funny event! Sometimes things that are 'missing' are more significant in life than things that remain!

Indeed that is so true what you say there Rich, a fine symbol of a moment in childhood, how we took so serious the things that we thought were so bad but only really minor things to parents and other adults at the time. Nice work.
