Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

I'd love to see that video - I'll bet it would be hilarious! This is great, Terri! I should try that sometime with my wife. On second thought, maybe not.... I'd be sleeping with the dog - and we don't even have a dog... :-P Try putting a spotlight right in front of the TV, and pointing it at the guys on the couch. A little trick I use a lot is to place a simple Poser primitive - usually a lo-res ball - in the scene where you want the light to point. Select the spotlight, and use 'point at' in the object menu to point the light at the ball. You can maneuver the ball right where you want the light to point, then make the ball invisible by selecting it, and un-checking the ball's visibility in the properties tab. Then you can play with the light's intensity, distance end, angle, and so on.

Nothing like a warm, cozy scene with the family coming together to watch a DVD or TV program (despite it being a horror movie). One wonders how many families still do that anymore nowadays... (Sigh...) Thought the yellowish lighting added a wonderful sense of warmth. I know how frustrating it can be trying to get exactly what you have in mind when rendering a 3D image. I myself often worked on my renders over and over again. And yes, I know girls are evil. That's why I'm still single up to this day! Happy new year!
