Asian Meishan pig
The pig has always been a sign of wealth and prosperity, a symbol of fertility and strength. Even for the Germans the wild boar was a sacred animal. Anyone with a lot of "pig", was among the Greeks and Romans, situated as privileged, than to enjoy many pigs had to have synonymous with a lot of food.
