I forgot about the fireworks, probably worse than bonfire night because more people celebrate New Year and unfortunately let fireworks off in their gardens albeit with heavy rains forecast across many parts of the country. Great capture there, I have one of those electric santa's does he rock left and right and have different coloured fibre-optics?.

Maybe she's asking him to ban fireworks? I'm with you on this. We managed to celebrate just fine without fireworks when I was young(er). I hope you stay warm and dry in your motorhome. Pity we have to do these things just so a load of drunken morons can hear the bangs and see the sparkly lights :(

whiii, love this image!! I remember last year's trip to the country or sh/b 2 years ago? :-( but hope you all had fun!! and a very pleasant turn of the year!! (ever tried rescue remedy on them? -Bach remedy-? really soothing, the more when given more frequently. and they don't have to swallow it. 4 drops on top of the head (i.e. headchakra ahem) will do) 'here' discussion about banning fireworks as well. cuz more and more illegal fireworks are being used, as in: boms and such. warzone?!! seriously, often more 'powerful' than a hand granate. most devastating news yesterday. some moron had put a firecracker in a cat's ass. it 'survived', vet had to put it down. I was shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wishing you & yours a wonderful 2014!!

What a perfect card this would make for Christmas! Maybe you should bring it back next year? I hate fireworks. They should be totally illegal. There are other, quieter ways to celebrate. Well, it's not the fireworks but the noise. It so upset the 3 Grrrs, that it would literally make me feel ill. I thank heaven that Leya seems to not be afraid of anything. I so pray that it stays that like.

My first time posting but I have to agree. Selling fireworks to the public is like giving every moron a bomb that he can set off anywhere and anytime he wants. People are too irresponsible to be allowed to handle fireworks. Some people even set some off during the very high winds last night when they could have been blown onto a neighbour's property and caused a fire!!!!!. And it's not fair on the entire neighbourhood. But then these people are sheep and follow what everyone else does, they wouldn't know an original thought if it slapped them in the face! You can probably tell I hate fireworks. I hope all your poor pets coped ok. I wish everyone and their furry friends a good new year with much fun and laughter.:)
