Description

This was taken in the first courtyard of the Forbidden City, Beijing. I was trying to find the best composition possible, while still being able to capture the striations of color - from the pale blue sky, the the warm band of roof and painted stone, to the cold grey of the courtyard. I was thinking of cropping the little green pedaled pushcart, but it kept drawing my eye to that corner, so it stayed. Just thought I'd share. Thanks very much for viewing.
