Topsham. Devon
Hopefully in the Summer we will go over on that Ferry ,
Turf is one of the few pubs in the Country not accessible by road. And that
is one of its main attractions.
Situated in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty walking, cycling
and boating are the only ways of reaching us.

That has got to be the coolest thing I"ve ever heard. That little boat is a ferry? and it takes you to a remote pub? Omgosh, I think of a ferry and think of the those big boats that carry like fifty cars and hundreds of people. This is seriously one of those old world things that people would fly around half the world to see. What a treasure!!

this is so lovely!! hopefully you & yours are safe!! (1st time we were in Devon -in a former life ;-) - was in Teignmouth. gorgeous to approach from sea -with swans flying like everywhere-, but there were sandbags in front of every door. cuz of the floods).
