Description
A regime that, like all fanatic regimes, certainly felt that it had a "special mission". It's a stance that often allows for every human rights and moral abuse in the cause of the end goal. Unfortunately here in 2014, we still see very prominent regimes which have donned that malodorous mantle in the name of moral and philosophical righteousness. Unfortunately we exhibit the lesson of the famous quote by George Santayana, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
Let's keep our sad history in remembrance and direct more of our efforts and resources towards peace and respect for one another in this new year, both people and nations.
