Description
I took this panorama to try and illustrate just how narrow the Peninsula is, separating the calm bay on the left from the big ocean swells on the right. Best viewed zoomed.
PS the WW1 pillboxes can be found at the top of the hill in the distance!
Wayne also did a fantastic Juxtaposition HERE

Cool ... like a promontory. It must be exhilarating to see the left and right of me the water to feel and in the middle the untouched nature!

A super shot Andrew and I note an optical illusion - the water on the left looks higher than that on the right!!

Just so beautiful my friend. God bless.

Thanks Andrew! That's so nice to see both sides at once. Somehow I imagined them being much closer together. What a great separator between wild water and wading!

What a wonderful capture this is and first when I saw it in full size, I realized how huge it was, seeing the roads :)

Amazing pano, and what a scene; I guess a good storm would put that peninsula underwater!

This is a fantastic capture Andrew and I like the comparison between the bay and the ocean and also the rugged landscape on top of the peninsula.
