Description

Just a doodle trying out some vegetation, developed into this one. Vue render, quite heavy (5 hrs) due to the volumetric lighting interacting with the metacloud fog. A little noise still, I can live with that. First post here in the new year :) Thanks for viewing, comments etc. always welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day, Lars

Nice. Good "burst" positioning and result on the caustics. What ferns are you using? Great "fiddlehead" in the center.

Thanks :) The ferns are from Xfrog, some treefern species, and indeed with great "fiddleheads" in some versions.

Excellent! Love all the forest floor debris. Lovely roots and excellent light. Fixing the grain would probably add many hours and this does indeed look good as is. Great "doodle".

I like the green appearance of the ferns combined with the rays of the volumetric light. It must be lot of work to balance the metacloud fog with the ambient light. Very nice mystic scene....
