I've been using Poser and Daz for a while now, but I still feel like a newbie. I like the potential of being able to animate and create your own scenes. The creative effort appeals to me on so many levels. You're only limited by your own imagination, drive and creativity.
I'm a storyteller, so basically I want to use Poser to create the stories that I want to tell, so my interest is more in modeling and posing than Animation. I'm trying to keep myself focused on that.

Excellent work! I really like the lighting. I had to learn that lesson a time or two, as well. Now I save just about after every tweak.

I've been putting off really getting into Octane lighting, but I'm going to have to give it a shot sooner or later. Right after they released the last public beta --DAZ went from being pretty stable to crashing constantly. The funny thing is the Beta seems to work just fine, except for it seems to be missing features that I have in the stable release. I pretty much decided that I'm going to start preparing to move to Cinema 4D once I get the hang of rigging. I'll just use DAZ to create the models then export the mesh to C4D and re-rigg them. It adds a whole lot of stuff to it, but I'd rather do that then to keep working with something that I can't rely on.
