Description

Here is where the man fishing was standing but facing west. You see they build a walkway so you can fish here. no cast nets can be use. use to get shrimp here as the waters is part salt and fresh water mix. But the people would not clean up after them so they stop that. you can use a fishing rod or you can crab here. Good crabbing when it is time to crab. What the water way is for? I do not know. I know this is the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge. And there is a boat landing just past my car there. The landing is close now. Got a iron gate there that is close and lock. As you see the clouds moved in from Texas so I did not get any sun set photos.

awesome evening shot! the clouds add some drama .. gorgeous. i think the canals are for drainage, probably a lot of the low lands were swamp, and this is a way to reclaim the land and give it drainage. just guessing ...

A great looking platform to fish from and the canals in Florida are for flood control during hurricanes!

Wonderful perspective and light. I love the water. The turbulence and golden light of the setting sun give it a wonderful texture, color, and shine. Beautiful capture!
