Description

This small river boat is taking tourists on an excursion up the Spree River toward Mueggelsee in the southeast part of Berlin. The seating area of the boat is fully enclosed. In the background is the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral), Berlin's largest church, completed in 1905. The construction cranes visible are on a site that is constructing a new, 5 station U-Bahn (Underground) line that is being laid underneath both arms of the Spree River that form the Museuminsel.
