Where Did The Boy Go? He is a sad and lonely dog, Just waiting out in the snow. And the poor dog just wonders, “Where did the boy go?” That little boy who cared for him And always showed him so much love. The saddened dog doesn’t know, That little boy went to Heaven above. Just the other day they were running, And having so much fun at play. Then on a holiday trip the family had left, Planning on returning in just a few days. No one seems to notice him waiting, In that place where they last played. He thinks this is where the boy will Come back, so this is where he stays. But now there’s just that lonely dog, Waiting patiently out in the snow. As his sad lonesome heart keeps asking “Where did the boy he loved so much go?” Copyright M.
